What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (a.k.a.CBD) has been the growing rage, everybody has heard about it, or knows somebody who uses it, but what is it? Why the growing popularity?

CBD or Cannabidiol is one of 113 naturally occuring cannibinoids that is found inside of cannabis plants. These compounds are technically called phytocannabinoids. The most popular phytocannabinoid is tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, but unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive. That means that our CBD products will not give you the “high” feeling that you would get from THC. Our products are guaranteed to be THC free.

How does it work?

CBD interacts with our bodies in a variety of ways. One of the main ways they impact us is by mimicking and augmenting the effects of the compounds in our bodies called “endogenous cannabinoids” - so named because of their similarity to the compounds found in the cannabis plant. These endocannabinoids are part of a regulatory system in our bodies called the endocannabinoid system (ECS).

The discovery of the endocannibinoids system has significantly advanced our understanding of health and disease.

The (ECS) is made up of endocannabinoids, metabolic enzymes, and receptors. Its job is homeostasis, which is regulating your body so you can live comfortably. It is in charge of your eating habits, your sleeping patterns, and even your social habits. The ECS also controls inflammation, pain, and skin diseases. It helps your neurons navigate the neurotransmitters to the right receiver by either elevating the levels that are too low or decreasing the levels of a hormone that is overabundant.

A customer of Bare Remedies went so far as to take a DOT certified drug test to confirm that while solely taking our products. they could still legally pass any drug test required.

How do you verify potency?

All of our CBD isolate is bought with verified 3rd party testing

Will I still get high?

No, our remedies do not contain any amounts of THC which is the physcoactive compound found in cannabis that creates a "high".
